Uterine prolapse - when your womb hangs a bit lower than it should

🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴

🔴 Sometimes, as you grow, you might notice that you feel your womb a bit more sown there than you should.

🔴 This happens when your pelvic floor muscles weaken and arent able to do their job like they should.

🔴 Even though uterine prolapse is more common in women after menopause, it can happen to any woman before menopause as well.

🔴 your pelvic floor muscles can weaken because :

💥 You have been pregnant before or had vag births.

💥 You have had a very difficult child birth experience

💥 You delivered a big baby ( usually vag delivery )

💥 You are obese or overweight.

💥You are post menopause ( your estrogen levels reduce after menopause)

💥 You lift very heavy objects

💥 You almost always are constipated and need to do a bit too much of pushing when its time to go to the loo, or you have a very bad chronic cough

💥 You have had pelvic surgeries in the past

Symptoms of uterine prolapse

🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴

💥 You might feel something protruding or falling from your little lady. You can feel your cervix sometimes. You can see these changes when you look down there with a mirror.

💥 You might feel some pressure in your pelvic region.

💥 Peeing can be a problem. You might either leak urine or be unable to pee.

💥 You might begin experiencing constipation

💥 You might notice you are a little lose down there. If pelvic floor muscles are extremely weak and womb very low, urge to do bedroom stuff might be low because of the discomfort it comes with.

🔴 Treatment would either be surgical, with pelvic floor exercise or by dealing with what is causing this problem.

🔴 Sometimes some medically made materials can be prescribed to help keep womb in place.

🔴 If your womb is lower than normal and you're planning to get pregnant, its important to get it solved after your baby is delivered. Once pelvic floor is surgically repaired, you will have to have a cesarean delivery.

🔴 Talk to your obgyn if you have this problem. It's usually not extremely difficult to repair this. Don't keep this to yourself and suffer in silence. Its not worth it.
